If you’re in the Nashville or Brentwood, Tennessee, area, consider yourself one of the first who can access Connected Home Experience powered by Samsung SmartThings. Ashley and Samsung announced a unique partnership to help homeowners elevate and activate their smart homes, and they're kicking off the in-store virtual home experience with a grand opening event that promises to be as exciting and inspiring.

The grand opening celebration takes place this Saturday, October 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Ashley’s flagship store in Brentwood, located in the Cool Springs Shopping Center. The event will bring together local vendors, interactive activities, exclusive giveaways, and live entertainment—all designed to showcase the future of connected living.

One of the highlights will be a live taping of the popular podcast Get Real with Caroline Hobby, hosted by Nashville’s own Caroline Hobby. Experience behind-the-scenes action, meet other podcast fans, and get firsthand insights into how home tech can seamlessly integrate into your lifestyle.

Throughout the showroom, you'll be able to explore how Samsung SmartThings integrates with Ashley’s home furnishings to create a connected, smarter home. From lighting to audio, the team has thought through how technology can enhance your every day, from morning until night.

What to Expect at The Connected Home Experience

Ashley and Samsung’s Connected Home Experience is more than just a furniture showroom. Having seen it ourselves during a press event earlier this month, we can attest to how interactive they've made this space. It'll reinspire how you adopt smart home technology, and let you explore other types of products on the market from other SmartThings-compatible brands.

As you enter, you’ll be greeted by the Welcome Home area. Turn to the left, and you'll immediately start to reinvision what it means to work from home. If the rotating 55" Odyssey Ark doesn't make you reconsider your office setup, it might be the motivation you need to upgrade your game room. Further into the space, the team at Ashley and Samsung will invite you to experience the connectivity between the exercise equipment and the large-screen television.

Glance right, and you'll probably overlook The Sero QLED TV that greets you when you enter. You're not used to seeing a vertical television, that I know, so make sure you have the team highlight how this new technology optimizes the orientation of its synced device. In short, you can mirror TikTok right to your TV screen with the correct ratio.

Throughout the dining and living vignettes, you'll have a chance to explore other aspects of connected living. From the Music Frame speaker to the ultra short-throw projector that's currently #1 on my list for Santa, you can quickly begin to see how technology can elevate the experience just as much as a great sofa or dining set.

Look closely, and you'll notice other subtleties in the space. Curtains that close based on a routine. Lights and sounds that ease you throughout your day. And, obviously, home furnishings that could comfortably transform any home (believe me, I sat in a lot of them during my visit). Don't overlook the fact that this is a great time to experience an OLED TV with Samsung's proprietary cinematic experience in its intended atmosphere, not just on a wall at Best Buy.

From there, walk deeper into the store. You'll find a movie night vignette, super game day setups (catering mostly to UT and Titans fans, obviously), and connected technology from floor to ceiling.

A Great Way to Plan Your Space

If you’ve ever been overwhelmed by the idea of setting up smart home devices, this showroom simplifies the process. With over 3,800 products from more than 340 brands compatible with SmartThings, this hardly feels like a Samsung-centric activation. If nothing else, it does a great job of highlighting how far we've come with smart technology, and how easy it is to adopt and implement in anyone's home. And thanks to the hands-on demos, you’ll walk away with a clear understanding of how it really works together.

Exclusive Giveaways and More

If exploring the future of connected living isn’t reason enough to come out this Saturday, the grand opening event will also feature exclusive giveaways and local vendors. You might even walk away with a few goodies to help you start your own smart home setup.

Plus, the event gives you the perfect opportunity to unwind and grab a coffee in The Ashley Lounge, a comfy space within the showroom where you can take a breather before finalizing any purchase. Whether you’re there to browse or buy, the sales team is ready to help you find the perfect pieces for your home and show you how they can work together with smart technology to enhance your everyday life.

If you're in the Nashville or Brentwood area, make sure to swing by Ashley’s flagship store at the Cool Springs Shopping Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 26. Tell them I said you could spin the Ark 🙂
