Not only is the Beatbot iSkim Ultra app-controlled for scheduling and activating, but the app also lets you manage the ClearWater™ Clarification System, see the water temperature, and check its solar charging status or battery levels. The product has seven (!) motors and 20 sensors that help with precise surface and edge cleaning. Its 24W solar panel is one feature that sets the device apart. Equipped with SolarTrack™ light energy tracking, the device will seek out daylight to recharge until it has enough battery power to resume the job. On cloudy days or overnight, the 10,000mAh battery takes over to finish cleaning the entire pool. Both the solar and battery integrations allow the device to recharge in just 5-hours.

How does it work?

  1. Scans the pool. Using its tri-ultrasonic sensors and AI algorithms, it creates a map for cleaning the water surfaces.
  2. Skims the water surface. It follows an optimized S-shaped path for enhanced coverage, directing debris into the front roller brush and suction mouth. Additionally, its unique dual-side brushes also capture debris from around the robot, maximizing the effectiveness of each pass.
  3. Cleans the edges and corners. After its first pass over the water surface, it cleans the edge of the pool with emphasis on capturing debris in the corners. (Note: Infinity pools can't be edge-scanned; the water level must be 10cm beneath the pool edge for the sensors to recognize the area.
  4. Cleans the water surface a second time. Doubles down on anything that may have floated into the middle of the pool.
  5. Completes the job and parks for pickup. The tool docks near the wall for retrieval. Users can also set an endless cleaning cycle and retrieve the robot on command by pushing the 'come back' button in the app.
