Let's hear it for Pantone! Today, the global color authority and provider of professional color language standards and digital solutions for the design community introduced PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz as its Pantone Color of the Year selection for 2024. The introduction also marks the 25th anniversary of the program.

So, color trend enthusiasts. Get ready to see lots of Peach Fuzz accents in the home decor aisle this spring.

The interesting thing about peach is that it truly could go with anything. Peach, described by color experts as a hybrid of pink and orange, is equal parts interesting and neutral. It evokes modernity and warmth in homes of all types, and is especially meaningful during a time of turmoil.

“A cozy peach hue softly nestled between pink and orange, PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz brings belonging, inspires recalibration, and an opportunity for nurturing, conjuring up an air of calm, offering us a space to be, feel, and heal and to flourish from whether spending time with others or taking the time to enjoy a moment by ourselves,” says Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director, Pantone Color Institute in the news release. “Drawing comfort from PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz, we can find peace from within, impacting our wellbeing. An idea as much as a feeling, PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz awakens our senses to the comforting presence of tactility and cocooned warmth.”

Can I claim that I predicted this, or is it just a coincidence I learned the translation fersken fuzz during a vacation in Denmark this summer? 🍑 Should I make a remark about facial stubble? No?

As far as trends go, 2024 is going to be a good year.
