BlueStar is no stranger to bold moves in the kitchen. Known for high-end ranges and a massive palette of custom colors, I was excited the brand just dropped something new: a dishwasher.

But not just any dishwasher.

This one fits right in with the rest of BlueStar’s powerful, design-driven lineup. It finally gives consumers a chance to round out their custom, modern kitchens with a 24-inch dishwasher that works as hard as it looks.

The First Dishwasher from a Powerhouse Brand

BlueStar’s been building heavy-duty, pro-style kitchen appliances for home cooks for over 140 years. So it was only a matter of time before they added a dishwasher to the mix.

What makes this 24-inch dishwasher high end isn’t the adjustable racks or stainless steel interior. It’s also how well it fits into a kitchen that doesn’t want to compromise on looks. This is a fully integrated, panel-ready dishwasher comes standard with a matching BlueStar panel.

Bluestar's variety of colors always stops us in our tracks. With more than 1,000 trim and color options and color matching, this high-end dishwasher doesn’t just disappear into a kitchen... it's a piece intended to become part of the design.

More Than Good Looks

Yes, the design gets attention; however, performance is where this thing holds its own.

The dishwasher runs at just 45 decibels, so it’s super quiet. And while it’s gentle on the ears, it’s tough on dirty dishes.

There are eight wash cycles (including Pots & Pans+) and five selectable functions. Among the special features, there's even a turbidity sensor that reads how dirty the water is and adjusts the wash accordingly.

Spray arms hit hard from every angle. Plus, there’s a fan-assisted drying system that delivers dry dishes without you having to crack the door or hand dry.

And loading? It’s flexible and smart:

  • Full-size removable top cutlery tray
  • Height-adjustable middle rack
  • Adjustable tines in the lower rack
  • Sliding cutlery basket on the bottom

And if anything goes wrong, a leak protection system is built in to catch overflow before it becomes a headache. Now, that's the stuff worth investing in for your home.

Why Custom Dishwashers Are the Next Big Thing

Appliances used to be an afterthought in kitchen design. Not anymore.

Now, homeowners like the idea of using their favorite color to help their appliances stand out—or would rather choose from a palette of colors to help them blend in. A custom color dishwasher helps complete the look, regardless if it's matte, a light color, or part of a bold color family. And BlueStar isn’t new to this. They’ve been offering unmatched customization for years. You can even design your own on the website.

This isn’t just about paint chips or trendy, stainless steel finishes. It’s about building a kitchen that actually reflects how someone cooks, lives, and entertains. One where function and form work together, not against each other.

Looking to match your range? Go for it. Want a totally unexpected color no one else has? Done. This dishwasher is made to work with your kitchen, not the other way around.
